No two patients arrive with the same history. The consultation begins by understanding the person, not only the complaint.

Approach

How a consultation is conducted.

A detailed history first
The consultation begins with your primary concern and then moves through medical history, current medication, digestion, sleep, daily routine and diet. Understanding the full picture comes before any recommendation.
Guidance suited to the individual
Two patients with a similar complaint may need different guidance. Recommendations are shaped around your constitution, history and circumstances rather than a standard protocol.
Clear, practical instructions
You should leave the consultation knowing what to take, what to eat, what to change in your routine, and when to review. Instructions are explained in plain Hindi and can be repeated as needed.
Review over time
Ayurvedic care often works gradually. Progress is reviewed in follow-up consultations and recommendations are adjusted where appropriate.

Philosophy of Care

What guides the guidance.

  • Ayurveda is most useful when it is applied to a specific person rather than to a condition in the abstract.
  • A patient should understand the reasoning behind what they are asked to do. Instructions that are not understood are rarely followed.
  • Where a concern falls outside the scope of an online Ayurvedic consultation, the right advice is a referral, not a prescription.
